This series is about growth and transformation and reinventing myself. Specifically this gallery includes motifs of antlers and stones.
Antlers are a means of protection, and that is part of their symbolism in my art. The antler obsession began with a snippet of a dream that I somehow miraculously remembered in the morning. There was a set of antlers on a staff in a lit clearing at night. That was it, that was the whole dream.
Collectively the antlers and stones are about a connection and communion with nature. It’s about being grounded and rooted into the earth, and about being in tune with the rhythms of the natural world.
