Alternate Realities
This series of acrylic and ink large scale painting combines the text work of the ink drawings and the colorwork and fluidity of the previous paintings. It continues some of the ideas I was exploring in the Safety and America series but adds in the differences between expectations and realities and how life doesn't always work out the way we plan it. The first 5 paintings in the Alternate Realities series were shown at South Shore Arts and were funded through a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission.
